DCBC is operated by a small management Company, limited by guarantee. There are 6 registered directors and three direct employees. The company is supported by an advisory board of 20 people who contribute to the direction and ethos of the organisation. These include: Thelma Sorensen (Vice Chair Cornwall) Derek Phillips(Vice Chair Devon) Anthony Parry Michael Dunn (BT)
 Tim Jones, who headed the Cornwall and Devon Private Sector Steering Group, is now Chairman of the Devon & Cornwall Business Council.
JEREMY FILMER-BENNETT
Jeremy Filmer-Bennett is the chief executive of Devon and Cornwall Business Council. His career includes over twenty years working with multinationals in hospitalility and publishing together with extensive experience in Partnership and Economic Regeneration. In addition he ran his own businesses in the hospitality industry for some ten years. Prior to his appointment with D.C.B.C. He was for seven years chief executive of North Devon Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a founding member of D.C.B.C.. He is married with two children and lives in Devon. |
